Name
Digital Archives and K-12 Students
Description
Rightfully so, educators introduce their students to the library at an early age with the hopes of demystifying the space and stoking intellectual curiosity. But local and digital archives are not just the place for graduate students and professional scholars/researchers! These information repositories are filled with photographs, manuscripts, rare books, and numerous other materials with the potential to spark critical thinking and analysis. In these back-to-back discussions, check out how two archives, the Montana History Portal and Billings Public Library Special Collections Dept., are working to make their archives more accessible to students of all ages.
