Name
Heart Mountain Interpretive Center
Description
The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center provides an overview of the wartime incarceration of Japanese Americans, including the background history of anti-Asian prejudice in America and the factors leading to their forced removal and confinement. We have created many educational materials for the classroom including reading guides, lesson plans, activities, and virtual field trips. This session takes a look at these materials, the interpretive center, and ways to teach WW2 Japanese American Incarceration.
