Description
Indian Education For All can be a fruitful resource for educators to implement listening toward understanding and civic dialogue within their classrooms. This session will focus on why IEFA, listening toward understanding, and civic dialogue are so important for our Montana students and offer examples of how to utilize the resources from OPI’s IEFA website and other regional texts for this purpose. Included: Lesson plans (2-3), various text selections from regional Native Nations and other regional authors, discussion points, and an opportunity to engage in a practice lesson.
