Name
How Phones, Augmented Reality and AI invite more students to the table
Description

As phones have become ubiquitous with our students, we must find new ways to help our students be creators and content collaborators rather than just consumers. If we embrace and encourage our students to use their phones as innovative devices, we can help them find their creative voice, share their narratives, and create a community with each other and the world around them. In this session, we aim to explore the creative potential of our phones by finding novel ways to create augmented reality art experiences and mindfully integrating artificial intelligence to help our students understand its usefulness in the creative process while being digitally aware. This session will use several free technologies to create experiences that can be used in the classroom.
