Name
National History Day in Montana
Description
National History–an academic competition focusing on history for students in grades 6-12–is returning to Montana! Attend this session to find out how to bring the History Day experience to your 6-12 grade social studies, humanities, or ELA classroom. As a world leader in history and civics education, NHD equips students with college- and career-ready skills of collaboration, research, writing, and innovative thinking that come from the study of history and civics. Beyond that, History Day teaches students to collaborate with team members, summarize and articulate arguments, manage their time, persevere, and achieve more than they ever thought they could.
