Writing Across the Curriculum
Description
This session will cover the 6+ traits of writing and give ideas of how to teach these traits using mini-lessons. Mini-Lessons can be implemented immediately into classroom instruction. We will cover how to build a rubric aligned to the traits and state writing standards, as well as planning writing projects for the rest of the school year. Teachers will get the most out of this class by coming with a teaching partner, but it is not necessary.
