Name
Cancelled -ndian Education for All & Culturally Responsive Practices
Description

This professional development brings awareness to Montana's approach to cultural responsiveness toward the Indigenous Peoples within the state. Montana's 1972 Constitution mandates Indian Education for All (IEFA) to be taught in all K-12 public education settings. It provides the legal parameters for all educators within the state to conceptualize, design, and implement culturally responsive curricula. The seven culturally responsive practices provide the framework to develop the lens necessary to create a culturally relevant educational experience for all students. This professional development is approximately 110 minutes long and provides an awareness of Indian Education for All and culturally responsive practices.
