Veg Out with Statistics
Description

In this session, we will use veg grids to estimate species abundance in a given region. We will discuss the task's relationship to sampling methods and using samples to make inferences about a population. Participants will consider ways to integrate the activity into their curriculum and leave with a lesson plan to use in their own classroom.
