"Anxious Kids Anxious Parents" is a book written by Reid Wilson (PhD) and Lynn Lyons (LICSW) that is directed towards parents hoping to learn and overcome not only their anxiety, but the anxiety of their kids. The Billings Senior High School counseling department has implemented a book study in the hopes to equip parents with tools and provide another resource to help our students combat anxiety. This book study has shown successes for both parents and students alike. There was a significant level of interest by parent(s)/guardian(s) to be a part of future groups. During this session, we will discuss what the book is about, how we developed the book group, and where we plan to go in the future.
