DIY Plushies: Physical Computing Across the Curriculum
Description

Participants will design, create, and take home a plushie that incorporates a Micro:Bit and LEDs sewn with conductive thread. Participants will design basic circuits and use block-based computer code to program fun features such as light patterns, music, and animations based on human input. This project can be modified in any 3-12 classroom to engage students in communicating their understanding of standards-based content using STEAM-based problem solving. $20 to take home a kit that includes a Micro:Bit, LEDs, and conductive thread
