Name
cancelled - Lost Art
Description
Our understanding of the history of art is skewed by the vast number of artworks that are lost. Of the surviving objects, structures, and sites, only a small number are studied at the introductory level. This presentation will consider the major examples of lost art and how an understanding of what is missing extends our understanding of what has survived.
