Language proficiency tests are commonly given for the purpose of qualifying students for the Seal of Biliteracy. How can proficiency testing provide students and teachers the feedback they need at an earlier stage and guide instruction before that point? How can testing for proficiency at earlier stages strengthen any curriculum, including AP or IB?
