Women in the American Revolution
Description
New research and scholarship have amplified the understanding of women’s roles in the American Revolution. In this session, participants will learn about women’s roles and perspectives in this conflict before and during the war, in both private and public realms. Ideas and resources for implementing this scholarship in middle and high school English and Social Studies classrooms will be shared and discussed.
