Description
Writing Coaches of Montana (WCM) is a nonprofit organization committed to helping Montana students grow as confident, competent writers and thinkers. WCM mentors students and supports teachers through community volunteers who are trained in best practices and work with students in the classroom. Dr. Beverly Ann Chin, Vice President of WCM, describes how we train community volunteers to use best practices as they coach students on writing assignments (in all content areas) that require revision. She also shares testimonals from students, teachers, and coaches about the benefits of WCM. Come to this session to learn how easy it is to partner with WCM and have caring, qualified coaches work withall students in your classroom!
