Come learn about statistics lessons with a focus on variability! We will work on a memory match activity and show you how you can generate data with students to use for classroom exploration. We use technology to explore ways to describe the variability in the data, specifically focusing on Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Standard Deviation (SD). We delve into how to support students' understanding of computational strategies as well as their contextual understanding and interpretation of MAD and SD
