Name
Circle Trigonometry Projects
Description
In this session, you will learn about using circular mandalas to visualize a radian and paper plates to make a unit circle. These are two projects I use at the beginning of my trigonometry unit. Visualizing how big a radian is has proven to be a struggle for students. Being able to see it on a picture is helpful. And I use special triangles to create the coordinates in a unit circle. Come prepared to cut, color, fold, and paste. This session is suggested for grade levels 9-12. There are a limited number of spots available (25).
