Law for Librarians
Description
This session is designed to provide attendees with in-person instruction and resources that will give them an understanding of the First Amendment, privacy, copyright, youth rights, and other legal concerns that arise in the context of libraries. The individuals attending the workshop have committed to become Law for Librarian trainers and will work closely with their state and school library chapters to support library workers in their state with legal information that will aid library workers in addressing censorship challenges and defending access to the library and its resources.
