Description
As teachers, we are often accustomed to seeing the tops of our students' heads as they are scrolling, mesmerized by their cell phones, despite our best attempts to captivate them with science content and experiences. This presentation will showcase numerous strategies to use cell phones as purposeful learning tools in the classroom and beyond. This session will include a field trip to a nearby pond (within walking distance) so you can use these tools for yourself before introducing them to your students.
