Skills for Montana's Bear Country
Description
Learn all about bears, how to identify their tracks and other "sign" and prevent encounters. You'll also learn what to do if you have a bear encounter, and how to use bear spray. This session features a real outdoor bear spray practice opportunity with guided instruction. By the end, you'll have a well-rounded, thorough and relevant foundation of bear knowledge to use for your work or recreation in bear country, and to share with your students, family and friends. All participants will receive a copy of our new educator's guide "Grizzly Bears of Montana."
