                                    Teaching Cultural Agility
                                        Description
Cultural agility will help children to thrive in an interconnected world and be future-ready to succeed in the global economy of the future. If cultural agility is not offered in middle and high schools, many children may be left behind, creating an even larger gap between the haves and have-nots. This session will help teachers to infuse their curriculum that can help students to develop this much needed soft skills. Among the topics addressed are: attitudes, beliefs, customs, values and characteristics and how those contrast with people of a different cultural background, acquiring knowledge about other cultures, recognizing cultural similarities and differences and applying the knowledge to develop cultural agility.
