Declaration of Independence: In Three Ways

"Dear George. You have become too clingy and too needy. It is time to go our own ways. Love always, America." At MFPE in 2023, I presented a course "History Through Music" focusing on a World War I battle; there was music and drawing and discussion. This course involves the music and drawing but with a bookend on the lesson. The lesson starts off with a breakup letter, moves to using music and drawing of images to gain student thought and ends with analyzing a Primary Source: the Declaration of Independence. Come and join me in learning about the Declaration of Independence in three ways.
