What's the new data and information about Depth of Knowledge (DOK)? How could DOK as a concept and framework be understood and used accurately and appropriately in the classroom? In this presentation, you will learn how Depth of Knowledge clarifies what exactly students must learn and how deeply students must understand and use their learning to demonstrate proficiency and perform successfully. You will also learn how the DOK levels can be used a multi-tiered method and model for delivering instruction, responding to intervention (RTI), addressing and assessing learning loss, and checking the alignment between standards, activities, assessments, and AI resources. Most importantly, you will learn how DOK ensures teaching and learning experiences are standards driven, socially and emotionally supportive, and student responsive.
