Located in las vegas, nevada, tyrone thompson es is more of an experience than a school. through the use of social media, they highlight positives, their “house” system, and the yearly school-wide theme to enhance the experience of students. built upon relationships and the idea that the school was going to be used to change the future of education while they “blaze a trail of success” and work toward the goal of being a “model of what a public school can and should be” daily, the trailblazers continue to “change their best” every chance they get. with a student body of over 870 k-5 students, the building is always buzzing with enthusiasm for learning and leading the way in providing an education that students will remember for their entire lives.
