Speaker Bio
Dr. Leslie Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Montana State University. Her work centers on improving outcomes for students with disabilities through evidence-based practices, meaningful school–family partnerships, and the preparation of future educators. She is particularly interested in the uptake and sustainability of teacher-driven initiatives and collaborates with Montana educators to create spaces for innovation, collaboration, and support, including through a free-to-use Start-Up Science platform. By weaving together research and teacher-led efforts, her work aims to strengthen the profession and support educators in designing and sustaining practices that work in their local contexts.
