Allison Nys is a 27-year veteran educator in the state of Montana. She taught for 16 years in a small rural district located just outside of Billings, spending most of her time in a 5th / 6th grade combination classroom, but also found herself teaching art, Kindergarten, Title I and Gifted Education during her teaching tenure. She spent another 11 years in administration as a principal and curriculum director in Laurel and then Corvallis. Here and her husband still reside in the Bitterroot Valley in Corvallis.
In 2023, Allison became the Manager of Statewide and Strategic Partnership for Montana. Discovery Education and Montana Office of Public Instruction have a partnership providing the award-winning platform, Experience, to all public-school districts in Montana. Experience provides over 150,000 supplemental resources to all educators in the state, for free, through this partnership.
