Amanda was elected to serve as MFPE president in April 2020. She is a vice president of AFT and is on leave from her high school biology classroom in Butte. Amanda served two terms in the MT Legislature (2013, 2017) and was the 2nd woman in MT's history to be on the general election ballot for US Senate.
