Dan was a long-time teacher/coach, then principal and superintendent. He is semi-retired, and does project work for Nevada Department of Education and speaks at educator conferences around the country about how teachers can protect their physical. mental and emotion health in these challenging times. He has been named for several coaching awards, two state principal awards and a national superintendent award. For fun, Dan plays drums in a Tahoe-area cover band, hikes, and plays basketball on a team of school administrators that won the gold medal at last year's World Senior Games.
