Evan currently is Vice Chair of the “Friends of the Montana Constitution” and was also on the Executive Committee of the “Montana Constitutional Convention Celebration Committee” during the 50th Anniversary year of the Constitution. He lives in historic Uptown Butte, having retired several years ago after 47 years at the top level of Montana government, politics, economic development and education. He is an award-winning producer of Montana history films, including his latest series “Last Best Constitution” and he continues to assist with community development, write columns, and occasionally teach Montana history.
