Rosel Joy Sison Dalisay is a special education teacher at Crow Agency Public School in Hardin School District 17H & 1 in Montana, where she serves students of the Crow Indian Reservation and works closely with school leadership to strengthen special education services and instructional practices. She holds Montana teaching licenses in Early Childhood (PreK–3), Elementary (K–8), and Special Education (PreK–12), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education major in Special Education at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. Mrs. Dalisay has received national recognition for her work in inclusive education, including the 2026 Special Educator Rising Star Award from the Council for Exceptional Children and the 2026 Teacher of the Year Award from the Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities. In addition to her classroom work, she mentors teachers, contributes to the development of statewide assessments with the Montana Office of Public Instruction, and presents at professional conferences on effective strategies for behavior management and inclusive teaching practices. Her work focuses on improving special education implementation, mentoring educators, and strengthening educational opportunities for students with disabilities.

Corinne Day has taught mathematics across all levels from first grade through college. She holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Education and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Montana State University. She is passionate about helping all students gain access to mathematical concepts so that they can choose whatever career path most interests them, including STEM fields.

Jodi Delaney leads a 4th/5th grade Montessori classroom in a public Title I school. She was the Guilder Lehrman Institute of American History’s 2013 History Teacher of the Year for the State of Montana, 2017 Montana Statehood Centennial Bell Teacher of the Year, and is a Teacher Leader in the Arts (MT Arts Council) and in History (MT Historical Society). Jodi is passionate about educating whole child by working hard and playing harder.

Joanne Didriksen is a dedicated teacher librarian at Helena High School with more than two decades of experience supporting students’ learning and information‑literacy development. In her role at Helena High, she designs and delivers media and information literacy instruction across curricular areas, specializing in the curation of resource collections tailored to the academic needs and the personal interests of students and staff. A leader who contributes to district, local, state, and regional initiatives and learning communities, Joanne is an active advocate for equitable library access to educational resources and opportunities that empower learners to reach their full potential.

Dr. Beth is a chiropractic physician with more than 30 years of experience working with pro and Olympic athletes. Passionate about both healing and education, she has spent much of her career helping people better understand their bodies.
Over the years, Beth has taught science at the elementary and high school levels as well as doctorate-level courses in neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment. She currently works with schools across Montana as a Tobacco Use Prevention Education Specialist for the Montana Office of Public Instruction.
As a self-described “garage artist,” Beth draws inspiration from nature and enjoys creating whenever she can. As a Humane Society volunteer, she loves using her creativity and compassion to support animals and her community. Let's keep our kids healthy!

Anne-Sophie Dubosson has been teaching French for 15 years. She has been teaching as a Visiting Assistant Professor of French in MSU for two years.

Sarah Eckman-Wade is a dedicated nonprofit leader based in Black Eagle, Montana, with a strong background in fundraising, communications, and community engagement. She has made a lasting impact through her work with NeighborWorks Great Falls and United Way, leading successful events, campaigns, and donor outreach initiatives. Sarah currently serves as the Fundraising Manager for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Montana Chapter, where she advances the organization’s mission through community-driven fundraising and meaningful outreach efforts. She also serves on the board for the Black Eagle Fire Department and the Golden Triangle American Legion Riders and remains actively engaged in her community through volunteer efforts with multiple organizations.
Sarah’s connection to AFSP’s mission is deeply personal. She experienced the loss of a friend in high school, and during her 20 years serving as a firefighter/medic, lost several colleagues and friends who felt like family. These experiences continue to shape her compassionate approach and strengthen her commitment to ensuring others have access to support, resources, and hope.
She and her husband enjoy camping, motorcycle rides, and spending time with their blended family of eight adult children. Her leadership is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and a genuine dedication to making a positive impact in the communities she serves.

Melissa Efta, MLIS, is a librarian who has served for 35 years as a school, public, academic, and tribal school librarian in four states. She holds a Masters of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University-Detroit and an undergraduate degree in Spanish from University of Montana-Missoula. She is passionate about improving library collections and teaching resources to be more equitable for all children and youth.

Since beginning her career as a Montana educator in 2014, Katrina Engeldrum has been dedicated to creating meaningful, student-centered mathematics experiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana. In 2023, she joined the Montana Office of Public Instruction, where she now supports educators across the state in implementing high-quality instruction.

Recently recognized with the IEFA Advocate Award—an honor celebrating those who advance culturally responsive education and ensure Indigenous histories and perspectives are meaningfully integrated into classrooms —she is passionate about connecting learning to the lived experiences of students. She believes mathematics should not be confined to textbooks, but instead experienced as something relevant, human, and present in everyday life.

In addition to her professional work, she brings over 12 years of volunteer experience with an organization focused on cultivating leadership among collegiate women. She lives in Polson with her husband, two children, and their dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and camping with her family.

Tim comes from a family where his grandparents, parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, and cousins were either teachers or deeply passionate about education. Although he graduated from Arizona State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, he always felt that he would transition to education at some point.

During his aerospace career, Tim developed computer models of complex systems to improve their performance and durability. While doing this work, he became convinced that computer models were an underutilized resource for learning.

With this conviction, Tim assembled a team of like-minded professionals and founded Active Learning Labs to provide interactive lessons. Many of these lessons incorporate collaborative competitions, enriching the learning experience even further.

He lives in central Maryland with his wife of 40+ years, who, coincidentally, is also an educator.

Marcella Flannigan is Montana Digital Academy's Clearinghouse Ambassador with 14+ years of teaching and instructional design experience, including a decade in a district of innovation focused on blended learning. She works directly with DCP teachers across Montana through implementation support, coaching, and her weekly DCP Tips & Tricks newsletter. Her background includes Elementary Education, MS Language Arts, ESL, AVID, reading intervention, and a master's in Advanced Literacy.

Emily Freeman is a skilled communicator and trainer dedicated to transforming complex tools into clear, easily implementable workflows for Montana’s school leaders and educators. As a Frontier Learning Lab Ambassador, she integrates AI literacy into practical workshops and coaching sessions, helping teachers and administrators across Montana to learn new tools and concepts with clarity and confidence. I'm an AgCorps member working with the MT Dept. of Agriculture. I am originally from Olathe, Kansas, and I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. After graduating, I came to Montana to join AgCorps in this role. I now help to run the Pull Your Share program, which aims to plant the seeds of environmental stewardship in students through teaching about invasive weed species.
