Kerry was a health and PE teacher before retiring and moving to Montana. She is a certified instructor for Raising Highly Capable Kids.

John Knight, Humanities Montana's Interim Executive Director and former Programs Director, is a steward of the humanities and nonprofit professional based in Missoula. John led and expanded several well-loved statewide programs including Montana Conversations and the Speakers in the Schools Bureau, and the Democracy Project, paying particular attention to bringing these offerings to rural parts of the state. Before joining Humanities Montana, he served as the Missoula Art Museum’s Registrar and founded and directed several successful art galleries in the Northwest. A practicing artist himself, John is passionate about building dialogue, fostering connection, and advancing culture and uses this passion to drive his commitment to communities across Montana.

Sisilia is a research faculty at the Center for the Advancement of Positive Education at the University of Montana. She holds a doctoral degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Montana. Originally from Indonesia, she came to the US to teach Indonesian to the Department of Defense students through the Defense Critical Language and Culture Program in 2018. She has taught students in Indonesia, Thailand, and the US. Sisilia is passionate about supporting students' and educators' wellbeing and her research has centered on children’s social-emotional development, factors influencing educators' wellbeing, and collaborative reasoning.

Rachel Lacy holds a Master’s in Health Education and Promotion and has channeled that expertise into making quality audio content accessible for every child. As a mom of neurodiverse kids who rely on audio as a primary learning tool, she knows firsthand the difference the right podcast can make. As Co-Founder and Head of Content at KidsPod, she oversees the curation of hundreds of podcasts across every subject and age range, ensuring every episode is safe, engaging, and genuinely enriching. Rachel is passionate about the role audio plays in building vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of storytelling in young listeners, all foundational drivers of early literacy

A mathematics teacher with 28 years of classroom experience, Anthony Lapke serves as the Mathematics Department Instructional Leader at Glacier High School and an AP Calculus instructor with the Montana Digital Academy. Anthony has demonstrated his commitment to the profession through his service as the Kalispell Education Association President, District 1 Chair of the Montana Federation of Public Employees Governing Board, and as a member of the Montana Digital Academy Governing Board. He continues to be a dedicated advocate for all working in the field of education.

Alysa is an enrolled member of Blackfeet Nation. She has been serving as the Education/Heritage AmeriCorps Steward at First Peoples since January. She has been visiting and recreating at the park for the past 10 years. She will be graduating in Fall 2026 from University of Providence with a Bachelors in Business with a minor in Marketing.

Armand Lohof is a retired High School Montana History teacher in Billings, Montana. His interests and organizational memberships include Montana Historical society, Lewis and Clark, and Heart Mountain Relocation Center. He has had an interest in transportation in Montana for many years.

Bonny Beth Leah Luhman Olson is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Montana. She served as the Education Director and Artist in Residence at the WaterWorks Art Museum from 2018 to 2021, and in 2022, she launched her own traveling studio, Stickman Studios. Recently, she returned to WaterWorks as their Education Director and traveling artist. Bonny Beth holds a BFA from Montana State University Billings and was recognized as the 2016 Outstanding Graduate in Art and recipient of the Anita Krueger Memorial Art Award. When she's not teaching, Bonny Beth enjoys spending time with her husband David and their dogs, cats, and chickens. She also loves traveling, hiking, fishing, camping, baking, and playing the piano.

Jim Martin has taught in Western Montana for 20 years. He is a Teacher Leader of Montana History through the Montana Historical Society. His primary focus is Montana History and the American West.

Rusty May is the Director of the Bullying & School Safety Foundation, author of Red, What To Do When You’re Angry, and co-author of Time In Teaching. He is also the creator of SchoolToolsTv (STTV), a daily social-emotional learning webcast reaching more than 10,000 students each day across the U.S. and internationally. Since 2003, STTV has delivered one-minute, classroom-ready videos that help schools build authentic relationships, strengthen character education, and create a shared language of success for students.
