The Eight Habits of Highly Effective Math Students
Description
All students, teachers, leaders, and community members belong in math. When we recognize math teaching and learning as noticing and naming our strengths, learning how to cultivate strong math habits, and building a community of math thinkers and doers, we build an equitable math community where everyone is represented and belongs. By exploring, nurturing, and growing our math habits, we uncover the mathematical brilliance we all possess. Participants will learn about the Eight Habits of Highly Effective Math Students and walk away with a plan to identify, nurture, and grow their own and their students’ habits.
