Description

What was life like for Montana children just over a century ago?  Explore this turbulent time of war, a pandemic, civil unrest, and political strife through the viewpoint of the Stewart Children, whose father was Governor of MT (1913-1921).  Through interdisciplinary activities, students will discover how previous Montana kids lived, worked, and played during a tumultuous time in US history.  This MT Historical Society Footlocker has materials and lesson plans to make your ELA and history lessons dynamic and exciting.
