Name
Transforming Your Practice to Persist and Thrive
Description

Teachers are at the heart of every classroom, yet professional growth can feel unclear or disconnected from daily practice. This session adapts a powerful team-based framework as a personal lens for developing individual teaching skills. Originally designed to help teams map collective expertise, this tool can also serve as a framework for self-reflection on what an individual needs to persist and grow in their teaching position, what they already offer and bring to the table, what they can work on, and how best to do so. Creating agency over their professional development. And, just maybe, creating teaming opportunities along the way. Useful for any educator, at any stage in their career. Participants will use the four-stage framework to identify where they currently stand on skills that matter most to them, explore what growth looks like at each stage, and walk away with concrete goals and an action plan grounded in honest self-reflection.
