This session presents a ladderized approach to NGSS that supports students with special needs and those entering high school below grade level. By identifying prerequisite skills and building scaffolded steps, teachers can create accessible entry points without lowering rigor. Participants will see how multimodal supports, hands‑on tasks, and intentional differentiation help all learners engage meaningfully with three‑dimensional science.
