Description
This session gives teachers high impact, low prep strategies they can use the very next day—regardless of subject area or grade level. This session will use civics and history content as a springboard to see how various teaching strategies can be used in all subjects. This workshop offers a toolkit of interconnected approaches that build student curiosity, deepen thinking, and strengthen engagement. Participants will get hands on experience with Image Analysis (Zoom In/Zoom Out), Hexagonal Thinking, Picture Frame activities, the Question Formulation Technique (QFT), Structured Academic Controversy (SAC), and quick entry tasks like Anticipation Guides.
