Description
The presenter will share practical, research- and evidence-based practices for teaching sentence construction to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. Participants will learn strategies to support writing development, enhance communication skills, and foster academic independence. Through hands-on activities, educators will have the opportunity to apply these strategies and leave with actionable tools to improve sentence writing, promote effective communication, and increase students’ access to writing and opportunities for self-expression.
