Montana's mining history is the tale of cutting edge technology and the important role Montana played in the world of international business as copper literally electrified the United States and the world. Author Brenda Wahler will present historic images, describe how to locate free research sources, and discuss the themes for teaching about Montana's Copper Kings in the context of late-19th century American history and the important role of Montana in American and World Affairs from the 1880s through the early 1900s.
