A Tour of the Montana School for the Deaf and the Blind
Description
Many people are aware of our state school for students with sensory impairments, and several have probably referred students here or have worked with our MSDB Outreach consultants, but how many have actually visited the school campus? Join us for a tour of our beautiful campus and see all the things we have to offer--from our residential facilities to our unique classrooms. You will have an opportunity to see how materials are produced and accessed in braille, how orientation and mobility skills training increases student independence, and how sign language is taught and supported by a variety of professionals.
