Reimagining Curriculum Design with Standards and Metaphors
Description
In this workshop, we will use a “hamburger” metaphor to show how curriculum design can be built in layers. Participants will practice breaking down standards, creating clear learning goals for students, and building simple models of curriculum that connect lessons, teaching strategies, and assessments. The session will also include ways to make learning more accessible with Universal Design for Learning (UDL), use culturally relevant practices, and connect with local artists.
