The Battle of Lexington/Concord
Description
This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington/Concord. While these engagements are well known for being the start of the Revolutionary War, their significance as a teaching tool extend well beyond that historical moment. We will examine primary sources that detail the engagements and discuss how these events speak to fundamental challenges both sides experienced as the war unfolded.
