Description
Primary sources have the unique power to connect students to the past in meaningful and engaging ways, transforming history lessons into journeys of discovery. In this session, teachers will learn what primary sources are, where to find them, and how to use them. Participants will engage in new strategies for using primary sources that will spark wonder, inspire inquiry, and foster deeper engagement with historical content and skills. From analyzing historical sources to incorporating diverse perspectives, this session will equip teachers with practical tools to make history come alive in their classrooms and ignite a lifelong love of learning in their students.
