Name
Communities & Connections: IEFA in the World Language Classroom, Workshop
Description
Let's build a World Language IEFA Toolkit together! This session will share example units, resources, and activities that are adaptable for all target languages and skill levels, and we will add more. New this year --- we will work together build a more complete resource for all language teachers. Bring your own ideas and resources to share and contribute to a meaningful discussion of approach and good practices. In the world language classroom, we can seamlessly explore, celebrate, and connect to the rich diversity of Montana cultures and communities alongside the study of target language cultures. Implementing these techniques can increase a sense of belonging, ownership, inclusivity, and pride for all students as they learn how to share about their own culture, other Montana cultures, and the target language cultures. Together, let's create a resource to help all Montana world language teachers.
