Using the free virtual manipulatives on Amplify's Polypad website participants will learn to create virtual balance scales to assist students in learning how to solve equations. We will go through the process of creating a problem, how to supply students with feedback in the problem, and how to integrate the problems into Amplify Classroom (formerly Desmos Classroom) for delivery to your students. The best part is every tool you will see is free for you to use. Please bring a laptop, chromebook, or tablet with you so you can create activities you can use in your classroom next week.
