Let's Get Physical!: NGSS and Physical Science in the Elementary Classroom
Description
Teachers will engage in hands-on physical science activities designed to be adapted for K-5. The focus will be on grades 2 and 5, and how to align the activities with Next Generation Science Standards. Discussion will include how to use NGSS student performance expectations as the assessment tool for these activities. Teachers are welcome to share ideas, as well as ask questions and complete activities provided by the presenter.
