Description
This session is geared towards pre-k through second grade teachers who want to focus on the meaning of the equal sign. The objective is for teachers to use multiple strategies to teach the meaning of the equals sign to students in a concrete way. In this session, we will incorporate play with the use of balance scales and how to make them meaningful within your curriculum.
