Name
Raising Highly Capable Kids
Description
Recommended by state agency, Promise686, Raising Highly Capable Kids (RHCK) equips families and teachers with tools to raise healthy, caring responsible kids. In Montana currently 2,600 children are in foster care. Before reunification with their family or adoption they will move an average of 7 times. As teachers, the day is full, with little time to eat lunch or use the restroom. RHCK encourages trained volunteers to partner with schools to present RHCK to staff and parents. This evidence based program teaches skills to work with at risk children using 40 developmental assets. A panel of trained RHCK volunteers will share the outstanding program, explain how to implement RHCK in schools, and answer questions.
