Description
The goal for this session is to introduce participants to equity training and to encourage them to commit to further trainings surrounding equity in schools and communities. As Layla F. Saad writes, “I want to be a good ancestor” and that means engaging in reflective practice that will lead to more just and equitable actions in our schools and communities. We will work through the different way equity impacts our schools and communities. This is a discussion-based session and encourage participants to create a “Brave Space” for all.
