Her days are wonderfully eclectic, and she loves going to work every day with young people who are invigorated about life. Her goal as representative of Montana Teachers is to share in their struggles, triumphs, and to help create school environments all can thrive in. Along with teaching she is a professional artist who specializes in silk painting. Her latest honor was being awarded Portfolio Magazine’s Most Distinguished Body of Work. Dawn also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family and three adorable grandbabies.
