Life in the Land: Connecting People & Place in Montana
Description
The Life in the Land project is a series of films that hear from rural communities in Montana, as they share about the value in community-led and collaborative approaches within the landscape. Free lesson plans are available for middle school, high school, and college levels, for educators to incorporate a film and discussion into their classroom. These lessons allow students to see how the elements of a place (people, environment, economies, etc.) work together in Montana. This project applies to the following subjects: environmental science, natural resources, civics, social studies, agriculture, economics, community development, Indian Education for All, and more.
