Jadd Davis
Speaker Bio
Jadd Davis is honored to speak at the MFPE conference. Jadd is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Montana. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre and a Graduate Certificate in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from UM. He currently serves as the Family Education Director for Families First Learning Lab in Missoula, as well as the Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at Anaconda Jr/Sr High School. Prior to his pivot to the mental health field, Jadd led a 20-year career in the performing arts, appearing onstage throughout the country and internationally. As an arts educator, Jadd taught theatre in some capacity to grades K-12 as well as serving as theatre or music faculty at Gonzaga University, Whitworth University and Eastern Washington University. His recent focus as a student and educator has been in exploring identity-development in men, especially fathers. In 2021, Jadd won UM's coveted Bertha Morton scholarship for his research into voice and gender expression. He lives in Missoula where he is happily married with two children.
